Imagine a week on magical Mallorca!

Mallorca is the largest of the Spanish Balearic Islands in the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. Surrounded by crystal clear, turquoise waters, varied mesmerizing landscapes and fascinating history. Immerse yourself within the roots of this magical island, dig deep within with the healing energy of Mother Earth and the unique energy that our home for the week offers.

Reset, relax, celebrate life, and connect with others. La Casa de La Calma is a beautiful, peaceful place that helps to restore the mind-body-soul balance. It is located in the beautiful village of Sa Cabaneta, only 15 minutes from Palma. The villa is surrounded by the magnificent Tramuntana mountain range, and offers spectacular views from everywhere on the property.

We will visit beautiful beaches, swim and lounge at our private swimming pool, eat delicious and healthy food prepared by our private chef, enjoy daily movement classes (Pilates and Yoga), experience a sound bath meditation, and do a sunset hike and picnic in the beautiful nearby mountains.

Open to all fitness and experience levels.

Think of this retreat as a fun way to move your body and supercharge your soul!
Something magical happens when you have the courage to leave your every day routine. Travel to a beautiful new country. Try new things. Experience different cultures. Meet new people. My intention is to inspire and empower you to JUST DO IT! Let this retreat be the excuse you might need to take a break- from work, from family, from "reality". Everything is organized for you. All you have to do is get on a plane and get yourself to Mallorca! Spend a few days and focus on YOU! Self-care, healthy living, adventure, friendships, and fun!

Our retreat venue is La Casa de La Calma at Tramuntana Flow. It is not a hotel, it is a HOME, where you can retreat yourself and honor your needs, while you have an unforgettable time. This traditional Spanish Villa belongs to my dear friend, Angela. She has lovingly refurbished her childhood home to create a place of peace, inspiration, and growth. La Casa de La Calma offers simplicity and comfort. The Zen inspired decoration reflects balance and harmony. Natural colors and soft tones induce relaxation and calmness.
A Typical Retreat Day on Mallorca...

Wake up to breathtaking views of the Tramuntana mountain range. Experience a Pilates or Yoga class in the gorgeous studio followed by a delicious brunch, prepared by our private local chef in the Villa's gourmet kitchen.

Choose your activity of the day: hike, bike, horseback ride, go to one of Mallorca's beautiful beaches, shop or sightsee in nearby Palma, go sailing, visit one of the other lovely villages, chill at the pool, get a massage or body treatment, or simply grab a book and relax by the pool.

If you're on the property, join our afternoon or evening movement class.

Most evenings we will have a homemade meal at the Villa with our private chef, but we will also have the option to enjoy a delicious dinner out at some of the area's best restaurants.
Location
Tramuntana Flow, a beautiful place of peace. Tramuntana Flow is a retreat centre that brings together the best yoga facilities and beautiful accommodations in a peaceful environment, which helps to restore the mind-body-soul balance. Tramuntana Flow owes its name to the magnificent mountain range in Mallorca, spectacular views of which can be contemplated from the entire property. Located in the beautiful village of Sa Cabaneta in Mallorca, only 15 min from Palma, Tramuntana Flow consists of several outbuildings on an 8000 square meter parcel of land.
With this vast canvas, there are plenty of secluded spots for you to find time and space to rest, relax and re-connect to yourself or connect with other retreat guests. One thing that makes this venue particularly special is the long garden with an abundance of trees, flowers and wildlife. The gardens offer spectacular views, and roll down to a gorgeous saltwater swimming pool where you can cool off and float away to your own world, letting the waters of relaxation wash over you and go with the flow.

The dining room and the living room offer plenty of space to have the meals together, either on a large communal dining table inside the house, or outside on the terrace. An after-meal conversation or the typical siesta can be held on the big sofa in the living room area in front of the fireplace, or outside on one of the lounge chairs.

The main house has five bedrooms and four bathrooms, characterized by simple and clear lines. The furniture is made of high quality and natural materials to bring a sense of warmth and relaxation. On the lower floor, two double rooms share a bathroom. On the upper floor two doubles share a bathroom and a suite has its own en-suite bathroom and a private terrace. The fourth bathroom is located beside the living room. The garden rooms are near the pool, and each has a private ensuite bathroom. All bedrooms have twin beds, which can be joined together for couples, or separated for singles. There is no air conditioning on the property, but each bedroom has a ceiling fan.

The spacious Yoga shala is flooded with natural light and 3 large windows that offer magnificent views of the valley and mountains. The sound of birds and nature are the background music in savasana. We will also hold classes on the open-air yoga terrace, where orange, lemon, almond and fig trees thrive and a wide variety of local herbs and aromatic bushes entwine themselves along the paths and gardens. It is the perfect space to practice in the fresh air.

What makes this retreat special?
I LOVE retreats! Attending them and hosting them! And wow, there are so many great ones to choose from these days!
What makes mine different?
My retreats are "lighthearted". Yes, we will eat healthy & delicious food, get lots of exercise, and experience some spiritual practices. But we will also have fun! Maybe a glass of wine, a piece of chocolate cake, or even a night out on the town!
It brings me immense joy to offer a community service activity at each of my retreats that benefit the local environment and residents.
And finally, my retreats are perfect for ALL movement experience levels; even for those who have never done Pilates or yoga before. Besides being a yoga and Pilates teacher, I am a physical therapist with over 25 years of experience. My favorite things are travel, adventure, wellness, great food, meeting wonderful like-minded souls, and of course healthy movement to keep our bodies and minds strong. I have heard people say that they would love to go on a retreat but don't feel comfortable because they don't have any experience with yoga or Pilates, or they have an injury and are afraid they will not be able to do the classes. Not to worry! As Physiotherapist, I can work with you to find variations or modifications of the movements so that you can safely enjoy and benefit from the classes.

Of course, there will be lots of free time for other activities (which we can arrange for you) such as massages or other bodywork, visits to the nearby breathtakingly beautiful Mallorca beaches, a catamaran tour with snorkeling and swimming, world class cycling, horseback riding, or a Spanish cooking class.
Most nights dinner will be prepared in the Villa's gourmet kitchen by our private chef, but we will have the option to dine in the area's best local restaurants.

On the last day, we will do a morning Pilates or yoga class (or perhaps a combo) followed by a delicious, healthy breakfast to nourish you on your travels. Check-out is at 11am but if you have a late flight back home, you can leave your bags in the luggage storage and enjoy Palma or the nearby area.
The Food
